A sizable fragment of the cave’s roof lies crushed near the entrance, its jagged slate shards strewn across the path. Sarah Jane’s boot strikes one flat plane, sending it skittering across wet rock in a percussive warning of the cavern’s instability under the assault.

Before: Undisturbed part of the cave roof, split along natural cleavage lines.

After: Broken into scattered shards by the attack’s force and human movement, becoming hazardous debris underfoot.
