Kew Bridge Steam Museum

A sprawling industrial complex along the Thames, its brick arches and corrugated metal sheds dominate the riverside skyline. The open yard is packed with derelict vehicles, rusted boilers, and tangled pipes, their weathered surfaces scratched and gouged as if something had torn through them. The distant hum of the city fades to a dull murmur against the metallic clatter of a broken generator still sputtering in the wind. Shattered glass crunches underfoot where a porta-cabin’s window once framed a foreman’s office. A single functioning floodlight casts long, jagged shadows across the uneven ground, illuminating patches of oil-slicked concrete where military vehicles now park. This is where the alien first struck—a place already on the edge of collapse, made stranger by the impossible energy still crackling in its core.
