Foyer of the Sanctuary

Long, high-ceilinged hallway in the ancient Sanctuary that culminates in a bright, sunlit doorway at the far end. The cobweb-covered stone floor conceals a deep black pit; Indiana Jones detects the trap (testing the surface with his whip and a stone), lashes his whip to a roof beam when the floor collapses under Satipo, and swings across the chasm toward the luminous threshold. The doorway serves as the key orientation point and escape goal amid drifting dust motes, echoing drips, and dim interior shadows.
