Thousands of tiny lights and structural arrays crawl across its surface like a living pattern, and a pale tractor‑beam flare connects it to the Enterprise, converting abstract threat into physical constraint. The vessel registers as an expression of a leaderless collective: implacable, clinical, and devoid of diplomacy. As seen from the Observation Lounge, this exterior becomes the scene’s antagonist — the visible source of the hail, the collective voice, and the immediate instrument of the ship’s capture, forcing command from deliberation into desperate action.
