Tabernacle (Tented Ritual Chamber)

A tented ritual chamber at the heart of the Nazi command center where silk folds form a dreamlike interior around a central altar/platform. Belloq, robed in gold, raises an ivory rod to invoke the Ark of the Covenant while Shliemann and Nazi officers stand around the Ark; lantern light and incense cast shadows across canvas walls. Indiana Jones bursts in—bazooka leveled—freezing the ceremony in a tense standoff as soldiers scuffle and pin him, captives emerge from the tent for public procession, and the air thickens with ritual heat and clashing faiths.
