The facility is sabotaged by Ice Warriors, with levers jammed on 'Dry' and panels fused, blocking vital moisture. The duty weatherman is found dead amid the sabotage. The facility's exterior is sealed by rising toxic foam, and the Doctor attempts to break in while shouting for Zoe. The facility's control room is the operational heart of Earth's weather systems, where the fate of the planet's atmosphere hangs in balance. The facility is under pursuit by Ice Warriors, creating a tense and dangerous environment for the companions. The exterior area is also a critical location where the Doctor battles through toxic Martian foam to reach the sealed door.
