TARDIS Scanner Chamber

The scanner sits embedded in the TARDIS’s control console, its circular interface glowing with cold blue light. The circular display hovers just above the polished console surface, flickering with static before sharpening into a single Dalek’s warped image. The chamber is intimate in scale but suffused with tension—the hum of the TARDIS engines blends with the crackle of Dalek transmission, sharp and mechanical. The air carries the scent of ozone and recirculated metal, the heat of the interface warming the air nearby. The circular display dominates the subspace link, its holographic readings casting dim reflections on the faces of the Doctor and companions, their expressions tightening as they absorb the Dalek’s declaration of societal collapse in progress.
