Tanis Digs (Airstrip)

An abandoned archaeological dig site in the Tanis desert that includes an improvised airstrip where the Nazi Flying Wing lands to refuel. Indy and Marion hide in nearby trenches/pits and watch the landing; the encounter escalates into a violent struggle amid idling engines and reversed propellers, spilled aviation fuel, and a cockpit slamming shut on Marion as Indy fights to free her.
