The greenhouse doors form the emergency access point between the sterile Plant Lab and the exterior's controlled environment. Thin white light bleeds through reinforced glass panels as condensation clings to the metal frames, creating an industrial sheen. The doors are positioned adjacent to institutional filing cabinets bolted to the wall, their metal surfaces dull under fluorescent bulbs that cast thin shadows across the floor. A single reinforced window in each door panel reveals tangled foliage from the other side—lush green against the clinical white—creating an unnatural intersection of life and sterility. The doorknobs, cold and unforgiving, stand as the only organic protrusions in the otherwise rigid architecture.
