Underground mine rail tunnel connecting the Ark's docking bay to deeper ceremonial tents. Tight, low-ceilinged conduit with wet stone walls and dim, flickering lanterns and lights; rails carry clanking mine train carts and the Ark while mechanical groans, distant shouts, and the rumble of soldiers amplify stealth and urgency. The cramped space forces tense interpersonal moments (Belloq/Shliemann debate, Indy pressed against the walls) and frames the procession's covert movement through the base.
