Power Deck

A utilitarian control space deep within the sandminer's operations. The deck hums with the low, rhythmic pulse of machinery, its air thick with the acrid tang of overheated circuits and the mineral scent of processed dust. Rows of banks of worn consoles line the room, their screens flickering with simultaneous readouts of power grids, navigation systems, and environmental controls. The lighting is a dim, utilitarian glow casting long shadows across the metal grating floor, punctuated by the occasional flash of emergency indicators. Borg would have been seated near the main console when the events unfolded, surrounded by the mechanical heartbeat of the ship's life support.
