Kiva (Secret Chamber)

Young Indy and Herman crouch in this claustrophobic, spider-webbed chamber buried within a Pueblo ruin. Kerosene lanterns flicker, throwing jagged shadows over sacred walls as Fedora's crew—Rough Rider, Roscoe, Halfbreed—shatter crates and unearth the Cross of Coronado. A snake slithers across Herman's lap, freezing him in terror. Indy seizes the relic from the looters' greed, igniting a frantic chase through the desecrated space that forges his role as history's guardian.
