The Jungle

Indiana Jones, Willie Scott, and Short Round slog through dense tropical undergrowth tangled with vines and towering trees. Teeming jungle sounds—chirps, rustles, distant calls—build an oppressive wall of noise and humidity. Hours of disorienting trek breed tension until Short Round spots Pankot Palace thrusting above the treeline: a whitewashed Mughal fortress of domes and minarets, its grandeur masking Thuggee evils ahead.
